Property and Area Description

Property Details

Unique, beautifully furnished, historical home(c.1850)located in Old
Town. It features inground heated pool, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Two fireplaces, one located in the huge Master bedroom with ensuite
bathroom, and large balcony overlooking the private backyard. The
house is very spacious and open, approximately 3000 square feet. It
is our family vacation home that we rent out when we cannot enjoy it
ourselves.

Large principal rooms on main floor with fireplace in living room.
Dining room has a large antique pine harvest table that seats 8
people. Original wood floors throughout(except tile in the kitchen
and lower bath)and all modern conveniences including a 32" Sony Flat
Screen TV, 2 other TVs, a DVD, VCR, and Sound system with CD player.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher featuring a double antique
porcelain sink and a heartland gas stove.
The bright and well equipped laundry room is on the main floor.

Beautifully treed private yard with heated and lit inground pool and
double size hammock.
Large gas BBQ and outside bar, 2 level decks and
dining area with umbrella.

Will accomodate up to 9 people. May permit more
than 9 at an extra charge. Please enquire.

Master bedroom is a very large suite(30X16)with vaulted ceilings
featuring a romantic antique pine four poster Queen bed, fireplace,
sitting area, ensuite with antique clawfoot tub, shower stall and
skylight. Beautiful hardwood floors and private balcony nestled
among tall pines overlooking inground pool and hammock. White wicker
sofa, chair and table make it a great place to enjoy the first cup
of coffee in the morning or a nightcap while watching the lights
from the pool flicker up in the trees.

BR #2- Large bedroom featuring a Queen sleigh bed and furnished with
antiques. It has an ensuite 4 pc. bath with large antique pedestal
sink and white wainscotted walls giving it an authentic country feel.

BR #3- Bright and romantic room with white wicker double bed and
single day bed. It can accomodate 2 adults with a child or 3 adults.

BR #4 Double bed with 2 piece ensuite. This suite is located on the
main level.

Open concept great room on main level( dining room, kithen and
living room)is ideal for entertaining.
The fully equipped kitchen looks out over the other rooms and gives
the chef a chance to be part of the get together too!

Simcoe Pines make a really cozy Winter retreat as well.

All linens and towels provided.

Area Description

Niagara-on-the-Lake is about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls and is located in the heart of Wine County. There are hundreds of award winning wineries offering tours and fine dining often right in the vineyard itself. The town is the home of Shaw Festival featuring live world class theatre. Niagara-on-the Lake was voted as "Canada's prettiest town". There are several 5 star hotels and spas, antiquing, horse and carriage rides, museums, historical horse tours, biking, hiking, boating, casino and much more.

Weekly bookings are: 1595.00 in Low Season(Nov 1-March 31st) and $2300.00 CAD in Shoulder Season(April 1-May 22nd and Sept 8th-October 31st). Weekly rates during pool season are 3500.00 CAD per week. 6% GST Tax will apply. Upon booking we will require 50% deposit by Credit card. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Deposit refunded if cancellationis made prior to 30 days arrival date, less 10% handling fee.
